Hosting365 is a VMWare Service Provider Partner and we have significant in-house skills
on virtualisation platform architecture and management. Virtualisation not only makes your
server infrastructure more efficient (typical standard severs only use 15% of their capacity),
it provides an increased level of service availability, while also saving you money in terms
of infrastructure utilisation and manageability.
We offer three core areas of virtualisation services to help you run your business more efficiently and allow your IT staff spend more time on strategic projects.
Consolidation
Hosting365 can consolidate an existing infrastructure down dramatically from it's current footprint by implementing a Managed Virtualisation program. Typically we will provide a technology refresh onto a blade platform hosted in our Data Centre, which will provide a higher level of service and availability, on a smaller footprint, and most importantly, at a lower cost than you current amortisation and operational infrastructure costs.
Infrastructure Management
Through utilising a Virtualisation Program, Hosting365 can monitor and manage your entire IT infrastructure requirements. Typically we would provide this service on our own platform, having performed a staged migration from the customer site to our Data Centre. By taking advantage of our Infrastructure Management solutions, Hosting365 will provide your business with a fully managed deployment that can scale as business requirements scale - that being both increasing AND decreasing server requirements.
Capacity Expansion
One of the biggest challenges in IT is how to manage capacity expansion requirements - particularly in a Comms Room that may already be running full. Through Hosting365's Virtualisation Services, we can provide you with two types of capacity expansion - planned, long-term infrastructure requirements; and infrastructure-bursting. For planned long term requirements, we can provide virtual servers through a secure tunnel to your premises, or mobile employees. For immediate or re-active requirements to meet a current peak in demand, we can provide on-demand infrastructure that meets your needs as they happen.
