Our failover platform provides a hot running Microsoft server based in the datacentre, that remains synchronised with the local Microsoft Active Directory using Microsoft’s Volume Shadow Copy solution.
In the event of a local failure - such as the onsite server crashes, encounters a hardware issue or a similar failure, the local site can failover gracefully to the hosted server and service is maintained for the local users / clients.
This allows the onsite technical services or third party support company a comfortable time window to restore the local server, in the safe knowledge that the local users are not impacted by the failure.
