KVM/IP

Hosting365 have deployed an extensive, Avocent Powered out of bounds management
system, utilising the latest technologies in Keyboard Video Mouse over IP (KVMoIP),
Serial Console Services and on board server processor aggregation.

All new servers, colocated equipment and VM servers include comprehensive remote KVM features which allow:

  • Full BIOS Level control of servers and devices
  • Full out of bounds reboot and power cycle, even if the operating system has hung or locked up
  • Virtual Media Support - Mount a local disk or CD-ROM on the server you are managing, allowing the easy installation of even new Operating Systems and software
  • Full desktop access as if you were seated on front of the machine physically connected with a keyboard, mouse and monitor.

In addition, all access is fully encrypted, locked down by access list rules and maintained detailed audit logs.
